Wildfire Readiness Assessment

A fire plan does not necessarily mean an organization is wildfire ready.

Struble Consulting’s independent Wildfire Readiness Assessment evaluates whether the controls intended to prevent an ignition—and respond effectively if one occurs—are actually understood, available, and being implemented in the field.

The assessment combines review of applicable programs, training and supporting documentation with independent field verification across representative crews and work locations. Contractors provide current operating information, while Struble Consulting determines which crews and locations are evaluated to provide a more accurate picture of normal operating conditions.

Areas evaluated include pre-work readiness, ignition and spark controls, equipment and fire-prevention resources, employee knowledge, emergency response readiness, supervision, and field implementation.

Findings are evaluated through a consistent evidence-based scoring methodology and result in a Wildfire Readiness Score and pass/fail determination.

The objective is simple: determine whether wildfire readiness exists in practice—not only on paper.
